Philosophy

I got sucked in once again in Anti-Aging Skin Care Products. The last one I used was Murad, and I actually did like it-would recommend it, what I didnt like was your initial purchase was I felt very reasonable and after that....Ohhh my you needed to empty the wallet. So, I was done.

Then one night which Thank you God I dont do often, I was watching QVC and came across this line. Philosophy. I thought Okkk,,,I gotta try again because I keep saying I wont go down without a fight. I waited and waited. Actually, I had to pay down my credit card--lol. So this week I was good to go. I at first was going to just order a couple of products that I thought I might like but then I decided to give it a fair shot. I ordered the Miracle Set--(dont you just love their choice of words). That is a skin care line for most of my anti-aging concerns, like lines, creases, sun spots,,rough skin--etc. Then I also ordered their product that is a base for applying our foundation. Suppossedly it gives us a fresh face that is nice and evened out, so we look better with our makeup--or ok without it. That is called Poreless-Flawless, the product that actually got me interested. I've never really been happy with how foundation looks on me.
Okkk, I'm on day 3 of this stuff. So far, so good! I like how my skin feels, I like how the makeup felt after all day at work, AND last night I used the Micro Peel and I can tell today my skin feels very soft, is shinier and has a glow to it.

Note the other product next to the box-its called Hope in a Jar. Boy it makes me feel desperate lol. That is their moisturizer you use in the morning and night. Whats good about this line is that the products will last a very long time, and you can purchase just what you need as they run out and I dont think the prices are that bad. I'll keep you updated but so far, I'm happy with it. There is a money back guarantee which is nice also.

17 Thanks for your comments!:

Finding the best face cream i think is a never ending quest for all of us! I usually check consumer's reports (i know - I'm so boring!) - but still end up trying new things!

I think you've made a good investment. I've used some of the Philosophy products and I've been happy with all of them. I don't use Hope In A Jar because I have oily skin, they have one called Hope In A Bottle for people like me. Oprah had the Hope In A Jar as one of her "favorite things" a few years ago. Their shower gels are yummy and come in fun scents like margarita and other edible scents.
I haven't tried the Murad anti-aging but I'm hooked on their Skin Perfecting lotion.

Dawnie, you must be one of the lucky ones. As for me I have to be very careful when I order things for my face & skin. The reason why is that I have such "sensitive skin!" Yep, last time I tried anything new it caused me to get a reaction like hives!!!!! So I usually just stick to my make-up which is Clinique. Now when I do want to try new things, I ask if they have any samples. I know it is such a pain to do. But I surely do not want another reaction like I have had in the past! LOL
Anyway, keep us informed of your progress with your new items and all. Best of luck and blessings.

Don't we all do this, ever hoping to find the one that is going to make us have skin like Kate Winslet? I am using a grocery store line right now but have laid out big bucks for all kind of things. Good post.

Have a Fabulous Friday ❤❤❤

Maybe you should try getting facial cosmetic surgery. Facial cosmetic surgery, In the long run its a much better idea. You don't have to waste time every day putting on makeup, You dont have to waste money every week purchasing new products and you'll be more confident about your looks. Facial cosmetic surgery is the way to go.

Love Philosophy!
I've been using their Amazing Grace shower soup for a couple of years. The smell makes it worth getting up and into the shower in the morning.

A suggestion:
If you have trouble with foundation looking good, try Bare Minerals or one of the other many mineral foundations.
I have rosatia so I've always had a problem covering up my rosy red checks. That stuff is amazing and stays on all day.

Hi Dawnie, I've been thinking about trying this line and this post gave me the push I needed. Went to Sephora yesterday and got a "starter" kit of things. I've used it once and definitely like the way my skin felt after using it. So we'll see how I feel after a week or so. Thanks for the tip! Kathy

Hi Dawnie.....I have used Philosophy... I always go back to Oil of Olay Day Creme. It is less expensive and I think it works as good as any expensive cremes. I have bought all the kits on QVC and HSN over the years..... drug store items are just as good. There are so many "makeup" experts that come on the morning shows that all say...just go to the drug store and don't waste your precious $$$. I love the Philosophy bodywash/shampoos, though... - I think they are a good buy for the lovely scents!~ Cheryl :)
