Screen house all lit up and ready for summer!

Here is the Screen house all set up on the deck and ready for warm nights and sunny days! All I need is the temps to warm up--and a pitcher of homemade Sangria--some good appetizers and I'll be a happy girl. Funny thing is,,right after we put it up--it got cold outside and we've had rain and high winds for the last 2 days. I told Baldyman I think this exact thing happenned last year also when he put it up. Next year I think I will "feel" like putting it up and then wait a week or two--maybe we can bypass the nasty weather! Its still up though..and looking good. I had to do alot of little repairs on it from the winds of the last 3 seasons. It really enhances us being able to be outside--keeps us dry from light rain--and blocks the sun when its very hot out. We also have screens we attach to keep the pesty mosquitoes out. Next up will be gardening time! I have tons of ideas for that this year and cant wait to share them with you. I'm going with several themes this year. I want to have cozy places to sit and just enjoy the scents, sounds and colors of the mini gardens.

It looks great. We turned cold again too, with snow Sunday night.
Now it's melted off and sunny, but still cold. I guess in a few months I will be complaining about the heat.

Looks great! Love all the lights, I hope it warms up soon in your neck of the woods! The weather here is just plain crazy.

The Titanic IS really sad. That's one reason I didn't want to go back. Chase is facinated with it. He loves history and wants to know why and how things happen. He loved the cave and loved learning how it was formed.

I hope your having a wonderful week! Kristen

If you put up your screen house and lights...spring will come(o: Here it would blow away because the winds are not done with us yet.

That is so wonderful for you guys...I'm sorry the weather hasn't been very inviting. It looks like a ton of work every year..I'm impressed! That salad looks de-lish...have to give it a try! Your little granddaughter is very cute...and I think it's funny she asks what happened to the chewed up toys...you're a good Grandma! There is something magical about an outside room with little twinkling lights...I ♥ it!

Dawnie,
That looks beautiful! Now, if the weather would cooperate. I was in Neenah for a couple of days for a social work people type of conference and it wasn't any better on the Eastern part of the state. Come on Spring!! Cindy
