Look whats on my bedroom windowsill!

This afternoon while I was in my bedroom resting I heard this scratching against our bedroom window and I kept seeing this Robin flying in and out. She's been building this nest and its awesome! Its actually quite big in size and the dirt inside the nest is still moist from her doing whatever it is that birds do to make their little homes.

I cant wait to see the eggs and then the babies, it should be really neat to watch this so close to where I can actually keep an eye on her.

I'll keep yas posted on the development of my new neighbors!

That is really great. I don't think I have ever seen a bird be so accommodating in letting you watch her nest building.

How amazing that you will truly have a bird's eye view!
Tell Genie that Sophie would love to have an adopted sister and we have an extra place setting for her!

How exciting to be able to see the progress up close. I hope when the eggs are laid that they hatch out.

That is the coolest thing! Every year I always have one build a nest in the arrangement I hang on the door...so this year I didn't put out anything...It's very messy when we would open or close the door, oh, and we have even had the Momma bird to fly in the house...so I did want that exprience this year...been there, done that...LOL ;)

You will have so much fun watching the little family. I had a nest right where I could watch it and I loved it.....right down to the drama of the last baby that stayed a week more than all the other babies. Finally it was out of the nest but hopped around forever with mother try ing to get it to fly. There is a lesson to learn there somewhere (o:
