Grandpa and Grandson Cutting Grass

My son is gone working and has been for a week now--he wont be home for at least another week.  Karson is 2 and is the apple of his daddys eye.  They are inseparable.  One of Karsons favorite things in his little life is to cut grass, ride on tractors and just do man things with his dad.  My husband went to pick him up today to spend time with him doing those "manly things".  Karson has been pretty sad, missing his dad.

This is the cutest photo isnt it?

Here is a good shot of little Karson and Grandpa.  Karson wears glasses.  I think he's so cute he should be on a box of Wheaties lol.  I hope the time he spent with his grandpa today eased his sadness of missing his daddy.  To a 2 year old, 2 weeks can seem like 2 years.
Its still kinda cool here in Wisconsin.  I'm just waiting on the warm weather to arrive and then stay!  We are still trying to figure out where to go for our little summer vacation.  At first I was thinking Georgia..but with gas being so crazy-we are leaning towards something closer.  Now i'm thinking Missiouri camping on the Lake of The Ozarks...or by the Ozarks.  If anyone has any tips for that area please let leave them for me!

Dawn, I believe you are right. That fog hangs on. The idea of having such a dreadful disease can make us feel like your body has betrayed you and it is hard to wrap around that not knowing what will happen next. You are definitely in my prayers for stability and good health. Lifting your name up to God's ears, friend.

Dawn, I have been thinking about you and praying that you got the results you needed on Tuesday. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

How adorable is your little grandson. Two weeks is a long time but great that grandpa could take over and let him cut the grass. so sweet.

Oh I guess Australia is a little too far for your holidays isn't it? I hope you choose somewhere relaxing and new and take some beautiful photos so we can all be jealous.

I have another three weeks before I see surgeon about my face but life goes on. My daughter returns tomorrow form columbia and I cannot wait. Missed her terribly. Much love to you.

Karson is just adorable and while no one can replace "daddy", "grampa's" are in a special catagory all by themselves. So am sure that the day and the "man work" was a blessing to Karson. Two year olds give the neatest hugs when they feel blessed, don't they? Our youngest grandson just turned 3 in January, still gives hugs, but now they are more of a "big boy" hehe. Sure having Karon with you brightens up any day. Blessings.
