Isnt this just to cute? Their little beaks are sticking out over the nests, pretty much all day long.
Click on the picture so you can see how much they've changed in less than a week. They actually look like little robins now.
this is from the inside of the house from my room.
and one more. They should be flying the coop in about a week. I noticed tonight they are moving around so much I'm afraid one is going to fall out. I dont know what to do if it does...if anyone knows let me know. I dont think we are suppossed to touch them at all. I'm going to miss checking in on them every day when they leave. Hopefully next year another one will come along, do you think they spread the word that this was a good place to nest? Heck, on warm days I even played some soft music for them.

WHOOPS, I messed up! the last two pictures are from when they are born...just ignore those..I guess I am tired!
Awww they are too cute. And get some sleep Dawnie, lol!!!
OH how cute! I just discovered today that we have a robins nest in a tree outside our bathroom window...I am going to take pictures if I can. There are 3 eggs right now. Can't wait until they hatch. Hope you are having a great week! Nancy
Awww, you have really become attached to them! Try to feel a sense of pride when they fly away from their nest! Had it not been for their safety on your windowsill, they might not have made it! laurie
They are so cute. I'll be sorry to see them fly away. I so love watching them grow.
so cute.......thanks for sharing that with all of us! I love to see the baby birds. Birds usually build a nest around my front porch but I haven't seen one this year. I think they are in the bushes along the walk way but I can't find it.
DAWN!
I had that problem! You may touch them! I had called a bird specialist to ask what to do (you wouldn't believe my story if I told you!) and they said "Put them back! Mom will take care of them!"
So if they fall out - put them back. It's OK.
They are so adorable - they got big fast! Also, it's a fallacy if you touch a baby bird that its mother will reject it. If it falls out, you can put it right back in. (I just did this recently with a baby mourning dove that got knocked out by a mean blue jay!)
loving the little robins :) how fortunate you are to be able to watch!
Nothing better than babies....doesn't matter what kind...babies are the BEST!
