I love having sunflowers towards the end of summer. I looked this weekend at the couple of stores I was at and they werent in the prettiest shape. When I came home from work yesterday I saw this on my coffee table. Isnt she pretty?
Baldyman went out to the flower shop and picked one up. I love how they have a matching vase. Sometimes, the perfect flower is just one pretty one. I missed planting sunflowers this season, totally forgot, so going to the shop to get one is something we just have to do this year.
Do any of you have sunflowers that you can just walk outside and pick and enjoy for a few days?

I love sunflowers too... Last year at this time we were in North Dakota and the Sun Flowers were everywhere... The big fields were beautiful! I just couldn't get over them. That was so nice of your honey to do that... Have a beautiful day!

Yes, I love sunflowers too. I can not pick them at my garden...but here in Miami we have sunflower sellers on the streets :)

I love sunflowers but alas, I'm allergic to them because of growing up in Nebraska where there are sunflower fields all over. They are gorgeous, though.

I go cut them in my son's yard. He probably wonders why his don't bloom! They are so pretty, and how nice that your husband brought one home to you. laurie

I just saw fields and fields of sunflowers last week when I was in No. Dakota with my mom. I posted some photos...I took a ton more. I love sunflowers even more now!

I enjoy sunflowers too - they are such happy looking flowers! I meant to plant some this year but forgot.
I was taking my daughter to work this morning and was looking at all the sunflowers along the side of the road. Wonder what would happen if I stopped and picked one? What a nice man to buy you a flower. And yes sometimes I love just one.
