Guess whose Back?

ME! I feel like I was gone forever. The conference was overall pretty good. You just get so tired of sitting, sitting, sitting,, and eating! My whole system is out of whack. First thing i did when I walked in the door---well you dont want to know but I'm sure you can guess. Bad news is, I have to go to another conference on Monday for 3 days. I might blow up!

Good news is I won my first drawing and I'm really excited about it. Nancy makes tassels and I believe its a Snowman tassel so its perfect!

I took this picture right before I went to my conference to show off my anti-aging face...but I have bad news about that to! I called to re-order the product but they have no special pricing or packages and it would be 200 for 3 tiny products!!!!! Well, I guess I'm back to finding something else more reasonable and in the meantime--I might get very old!

I'll be back to check everyone's blog and hopefully you are all doing well.

9 Thanks for your comments!:

Hi Dawnie, I know what you mean. I like to get away too but it does throw my whole system off even though I try to eat right in the restaurants and whatever. Always good to get home. :)
P.S. I have never had French Onion soup. I hear lots of people talk about French Onion soup on the blogs. You must post your recipe so I can make it too.

Welcome back...You are so cute even without all that expensive face cream. Isn't it ridiculous?

Hello Dawnie I know what you mean about those conferences. I hated them truly for lots of differetn reasons and i used to get so worked up. I used to work in Social Services for years in one of their offices dealing with lots of clients every day. I preferred that to customers.

OK, well you may or may not know that I did a Diploma in Makeup. I just want to tell you that there is NO magic lotion or potion that can turn back the clock. You will often find that the same makeup companeis own the cheaper lines and the more expensive lines. Its all the psychology of thinking its doing us some good.

I fall for it too - but I like to use things like vaseline, gently so you are not a grease ball. I also use rose hip oil which I was told to use by an Italian woman who said her whole family had used it. Now because these are both on the oily/greasy side I only do this when home or at night. My NO 1 best anti aging tip is sunblock. I pay a lot for good sunblock and apply it winter, spring, summer or autumn (I have very fair skin) and I drink loads of water. I just think that we can do things that dont cost a bundle. They are a rip off. Besides I think you have really good skin and look good. Anyway if I think of anything more I will let you know. Of course there are some simple makeup products too that can really lift the aging thing. Froexample Touche Eclat by Dior may cost a bit but I will buy that over any skincare. It lights up th esin under your eyes and lifts your face. OK I will stop now because I could go on and on and on. I just dont want you to think you have to spend a fortune. You truly do not need it.

Hi Dawn:
I'm glad you made it back safely from your trip. I know what you mean about traveling and having it throw your body out of whack...
That's a nice picture of you, your skin looks great. I gave up on the aging and wrinkles...I think I've earned everyone of mine!!
I am still in Las Vegas and enjoying every minute of it. I am going home either Sat. or Sun...if the money holds out. lol.

Welcome back - I love going to conferences. My only pet peeve is that I hate to pack, unpack, and then do the laundry involved.

Your skin looks great! I have been using Olay Regenerist and really like it...especially the price tag. I just purchased their pro calcium line which is suppose to help those who are youth challenged. I hope it works.
